  • Two Months Back till Two Weeks Later

    April 28th, 2023

    On 16-Apr-2023:

When the cartel found that their long-term existence and power are threatened by the ongoing civilian peaceful and political negotiations on many difficult topics like justice, peace settlement and civil government empowerment in addition to international community recognition and support. Only then, they’ve decided to turn their faces to each other and play the bone-crushing wrestling game to proof that there’s only one head for the copra and that the Amphisbaena is a well-known myth for any history reader. But, how many of us actually READS?

According to this study, The average number of pages read by average Arab person per year is far less than one book while the same for European person is 35 books!

Moreover, it states that “The Arab world translates 1/5 of the books translated by the small nation of Greece. Nearly 10,000 books have been translated into Arabic between the end of Al-Ma’mun’s rule (813-833 a.d.) in the Abbasid Caliphate and the current age. This number is equal to the number of books translated by Spain in a single year.”

What does this has to do with the cartel opening statement?

    Actually NOTHING!

But you kept getting engaged and thrilled to know more when you read this word specifically “Cartel”. I wonder what exactly came to your mind at that moment? but, I actually don’t want to know! Because, whatever you have imagined, it has the same effect on your mind, body and soul as if it has ACTUALLY materialized.

That’s said, many people had seen this clash coming on the horizon and gradually getting materialized more and more until it became a REALITY.

    Updated this blog on 28-Apr-2023:

MOST FRIGHTENINGLY; it had materialized in its ugliest form: WAR!
His beloved capital became the scene of full-fledged war between the cartel heads with only one shared mission & vision: DESTROY the other party totally, permanently and forever!

My family and several other groups (actually ALL RESIDENTS OF EACH HOME) relatives have finally arrived to Dongola (Northern State in Sudan) only last night! after 13 days since the beginning of this self-destructive war between two Sudanese parties during which; hundreds of randomly shot and killed innocent civilians, many destroyed building, markets, roads and facilities, hundreds of shops and factories looting, many houses occupied by forces after telling owners & residnts to evacuate immediately in exchange for not being shot immediately.

Thousands of families had been forced to leave their homes towards other states outside of Khartoum including El-Gazeera (adjacent to Khartoum from the South), White Nile (West), Port Sudan (East), Northern State and scattered on many cities and villages all along the way. For many of these families, they were actually either trying to flee back to their rural origins or trying to flee totally out of Sudan to mainly: Egypt (where many Sudanese families including both mid-class and wealthier have owned assets and properties -mostly apartments), Saudi Arabia (where the highest number of Sudanese expats reside and have very easy & attainable “Family Visit Visa” whom can host them -in an additional cost of course), United Arab Emirates and Turkey (Where many wealthier families have assets and businesses there).

The most shocking part is that all of the above mentioned types of different samples presenting my beloved Sudanese people is that it’s only about 15% of the total population! So, many of our brothers, sisters, fathers and most beloved mothers are currently there INSIDE the war zone! Terrified, dying, locked inside their houses, under beds and tables, with their babies, elder sick people, no medications, no healthcare or evacuation routes to hospitals availability, no food, special food supplies of babies like power milk, no electricity, no water. Actually, many people (whole families) have actually died inside their cars while they were trying to flee out the shooting. Moreover, in many cases in was not even possible to go near their cars for more than 3 and 4 days!
Oh My God; ALLAH, the MOST MERCIFUL). I need to stop IMAGINING what that could this be like. I’m far away. All I can do right now and right here is to pray to ALLAH to shelter, help and save them all. My mother, father, brother, cousins, aunts, daughter & her mother and family. friends, coleagues, poort people and all of our beloved Sudan.

Let’s keep praying (please pray with us. Please).

  • Another day

    April 5th, 2023

I have discovered recently that despite the fact that I’m usually a very low traffic user when it comes to phone calls, sometimes (actually rarely) I engage and immerse in very long calls for prolonged periods of time. For example, tonight I had an over 80 minutes phone conversation with a dear friend who lives back in my hometown which is in another continent.

Then I have to continue working on my Final Assignment of the latest module class I have attended. This is due in 30 days from class date (now remains 19 days) to submit it along with a Work Book. Both items requires around 40-50 hours for FA and 20-30 for WB.

As you can see, I have to allocate at least 15 hours of deep work (requires Flow State – which we’ll talk about in a next blog.

Add to that, my usual daily professional career of 9-to-5. At 17:30-18:00, it’s sunset time! Not to mention that the 9-to-50 is constant where the sunset varies along the year! for example, it ranges from 17:00 till 18:30 from winter to hottest summer season.

And what about the gym? the family? the friends? the social networking and interaction?

Unfortunately, the answer is: NONE! or to be precise; near-to-none! How? Let me tell you:

    • Family: None, except for my close relatives who live about 45-70 minutes of distance away so my visits are only on weekends and sometimes I skip two or three ones. I live abroad in a full-time professional contract basis.
    • Friends: I have less than a handful of close ones with many second degree friends like professional social networking people, colleagues, old clients of teammates.
    • Social Networking and Interaction: this one is far from none, I actively attend several types of events both physical and virtual. For instance, I’ve attended 1 international event abroad, 4 major local events and over half a dozen of workshops and seminars. All of this, only during previous 6 months!
    • Gym: the best timing for me is the early morning (before office time) specially that i live 3-4 minutes waling distance from my office. So, I cannot allow any disturbance to my relatively early (23:00) compared to local norm in my city and among peers! Only this way I can wakeup maximum by 07:00 (completing an 8-Hours sleep), take a 12 minutes walk (and warmup) to the gym, exercise for 30-45 minutes then walk back home and still have time to take a shower, get dressed and be in office by 09:00.

As you can see, this lifestyle automatically assists you (without any Artificial Intelligence) to:

    1. Eliminate all what does not support and facilitate your personal plan realization from your daily schedule.
    2. Emphasize the idea of the “Spacious Weekend” which in my case I can spend easily 15 hours on a single weekend day on something of value to me like doing my MBA related work and studies, working on creating a passive income channel, finding the best partner and so on).
    3. Energize yourself and surroundings and have time & mental capacity to practice “doing nothing at all” which is a trending yet effective one that comes in different names like meditation, mindfulness, alertness and so on.
